I'm Shamika, owner and founder of Rosalia's Massage and Bodyworks. Originally from Massachusetts and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 7 years now. Once I got to Florida there was a number of ways I could have taken my career, with my main focus being to provide the best care that will have the biggest impact. That is when I decided to get certified in Advanced Lymphatic Drainage doing Post Surgical massage. Although it was nerve wracking and intimidating to start, I had some great friends who helped along the way and gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my business. I find great pleasure practicing this modality and am learning new things everyday about the lymphatic system, the healing process of the body and what to expect in the weeks following surgery, giving me the ability to educate my clients and prepare them mentally on their recovery journey.
